The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula explores the fascinating history of the region, and the impact made on it by the timber products industry. The museum's collection features 85,000 artifacts that include compasses and maps used by Lewis and Clark, and the exhibits on Native American communication. The museum is located outside of town, near the Larchmont Country Club.
